Seattle Coffee Co, a national coffee chain, needed a single WiFi experience across every store, with as little friction as possible for customers and a guest list the marketing team could actually rely on.

Challenge

Coffee shops rely on being the spot to sit and work, so WiFi is table stakes. But every extra field and tick box on a portal adds friction, and friction costs opt-ins.

Solution

• One portal design across all stores, with a short sign-in that asks only for what Seattle Coffee Co actually needs.
• A branded splash per store, so a regional promotion or a new-store opening can be called out at that store.
• Per-store numbers on the Guest Insights package: connections and visitor counts, new versus returning guests, busy times, and how long guests stay connected.
• POPIA-aware consent wording built into the sign-in flow.
• Guest traffic kept off each store's own network and card machine.

The result

Guests get online with one short sign-in. The brand holds steady from store to store. And the marketing team gets a consistent opt-in list instead of sign-up cards in a drawer. A rollout on this scale is quoted as a project, then billed per location per month.
