Church guest WiFi preview

See the church guest WiFi journey.

A neutral Hotwireless preview for churches, halls and ministries: your own branded splash page, a guest login with POPIA-aware consent, access tiers with time and bandwidth limits, and guests kept on their own network, separate from the one your office and sound desk run on.

This is a simulated preview. Nothing here connects to a live network, and no details are stored.

Welcome

The splash page carries the church name, logo, colours and wording. This is what a guest sees when they join the WiFi.

How guests sign in

The church chooses which of these it wants. Both are shown so you can compare them.

One tap is the Basic package. Sign-up is the Basic + Data Collection package.

Guest sign-up

On Basic + Data Collection the guest gives their details before going online, and consent is captured at the moment they are given.

You are online

Connected. Terms accepted, guest profile active. Guests sit on their own guest network, separate from the network the church office and sound desk run on.

Guest menu

What the church can set up and see behind the portal.

Access tiers

Limits are set per tier. Each tier carries its own session time and its own speed limit, so a Sunday visitor, a hall hire and the youth midweek group can all be given something different.
  • Session length per tier, so a guest is not on all day.
  • Speed limit per tier, so one guest cannot take the whole line.
  • Guests stay on the guest network, separate from the church office network.

Access types

Four ways to open the door. Free access, advertising-supported access, voucher access, or paid access. The church picks per tier, and can change it later.
  • Free, for a normal Sunday.
  • Advertising-supported, where the splash page carries local sponsors.
  • Vouchers, useful for hall hire, conferences and community meetings.
  • Paid, where the church wants to charge for access.

Privacy and consent

POPIA-aware from the login step. Consent wording appears before the guest goes online, and on the sign-up tier it is captured at the moment the details are given.
  • Terms of use accepted before the connection is opened.
  • The guest list belongs to the church, and it can be exported.
  • Nothing on this preview page is stored.

Guest Insights, example

At a venue or in a vehicle

All three packages work either way. Fixed at the church building or hall, or moving in a vehicle with WiFi in Motion, for an outreach bus, a shuttle or a youth trip.

The guest journey is the same in both cases: branded splash page, consent, terms accepted, then online on the guest network.
